This is a pretty straight forward project, though it still took a while to get everything fitting together nicely πŸ™‚

The idea was to re-use this nice big volume knob from an old, analog amplifier, put it into a custom little box and make it able to control the volume of my computer.

Above is the image of my very first attempt of driving this nice little bi-polar stepper motor (M35SP-11HPK) that I had salvaged from a broken Canon printer a whileΒ ago.

I have quickly put together a L293D H-bridge with an Arduino board and using the Stepper library was quite straight forward
