SPOKA Night Light & Android – RETURNS

Here’s a quick follow up to my previous post on this topic, to showcase the work of Frank, who inspired by my project (wow… I feel good 🙂 ) went on and created a similar SPOKA light.

Short movie to download

He used the exact same IKEA hardware, but completely replaced the PCB with a custom one (that looks nicer and more modular). He even went through the creation of an “evaluation” board, which for me, a self taught and hacky person on the HW side, seems impressive…

On the software side he’s built on top of  my code for both the AtTiny2313 and the Android platform but he doesn’t get the annoying flickering that I do… probably better hardware than the original one…

Download the AtTiny C code.

Thank you Frank for all this, I’m quite impressed with your hardware, and really proud that my project inspired you !
